Hameln (30 Apr. 2013)

Hameln, the hometown of Grimms' Fairy Tales "Pied Piper of Hamelin". It's a very small town and you can take just 2~3 hours to finish the tour. I recommend you to come in the morning after 10 o'clock, and then you can visit the town with a very slow tempo. Here, you can see rats everywhere... not the real one of course! And many of the signs were very interesting, too!

In front of the train station, you'll see this lovely rat and the map on its back~!

It was the Rattenfängerhaus, which has already changed into a restaurant.

Hameln Museum, it hadn't open when I arrived.

After 11, you'll see the museum is opened and there's a Rattenfänger statue

you'll see many statue arts in this city

a new bridge connects two old houses

as you can see, it's a store selling umbrellas and bags

Marktkirche

It's a bakery, and they make a lot of breads with the shape of rat...

It's called Brotratten, which means the rat made of bread, but actually it can not eat...= =|||

Is it a store selling drugs for killing rats...?XDD

It's only 5.4 euros!! I think it's cheap enough because the salad was really big!!

the river Weser

on the bridge, you'll see...

After visiting Hameln, time to go to Goslar, and I stopped by Hildesheim for about an hour for waiting the train.
