Baden Baden

I got Baden Baden about late in the evening since I stayed in Heidelberg too late and couldn't help but stopping there.

The Jugendherberge Baden Baden is far from the city and it's on the hillside, so I climbed up the hill to get there hardly and it was exhausted after all. On that day, I was the only one who slept in that 5-bedroom room.
climb up and up and up....
finally got here...

McDonald's in Baden Baden looks quite elegant!
there were a lot of people just seating there and do nothing
Thanks to the opening time of Friedrichsbad, I had to go there immediately after I put my luggage bag. Friedrichsbad is the most famous and special place in Baden Baden. The feature is that it's a typical Roman hot spring with naked body, so you have to follow the steps they ordered, 17 in total. At first, I got a little unfamiliar with it since there's no springs to get naked with every men and women in Taiwan, but I got used to it anyway. http://www.carasana.de/en/friedrichsbad/home/

There's shower room, steam room, sauna room, and many different types of springs including the cold ones and the hot ones. There's two extra-paid services, soap & brush massage , and I only took the first one because of the time. At the end of the step is that the waiter will use the warm blanket and towel to wrap you up like a mummy...XDD and you can take a snap for about 30 minites, and you're finished. Anyway, it was incredibly good and can extremely relax there. I recommand everyone who goes to Baden Baden should try it anyhow.
At Friedrichsbad, I met a middle-aged Frenchman, and we talked a lot. He said in France men have to serve the army only in his ages but not anymore now. Another thing, he said he didn't like the food in Germany because there's sausage everywhere in Germany but there are various types of food in France.

There's also another famous place for spring is Caracalla Therme, where you should wear the swimming suit mostly but still naked in the sauna room, but I didn't try it because of the time. I'll try it if I go to Baden Baden next time.

It was almost 10 at night when I got out from Friedrichsbad. The interest thing is that there are still some restaurants opened at night, I think it's because there's casino and opera there. The food I ate is a little bit too salty again...... Is it normal in Germany?
The restaurant was still opening after 10 p.m.
the dinner was salty...
After having a great spring and a midnight snack, it was about time to sleep, and it's the end in Baden Baden.
