Karsten's Travel Sky: Rhein (16 Apr. 2013)

After the bad day in Mainz yesterday, it went worse than the day before.

All the DB trains, yes I mean "ALL", were all delayed or even cancelled without any further notice!!!!!

All the people were blew up by DB!!!!

everyone got mad about it!!!

I went up early for the train at 09:13, and it was delayed for 25 mins at first and then was cancelled after, oh I should say "disappear", at about 09:40......WHAT!!!!???? I couldn't take any other trains because... others were all cancelled......= =||| It couldn't be worse!!!!

I was planning to Rüdesheim, but the trains heading there were all cancelled or delayed for more than 2 hours...... I decided to the town Bingen, which was on the other side from Rüdesheim. So my schedule was totally in a mess!!!!

I got to Bingen in the end..... to be the start point of the journey in Rhein

Fortunately, it got better after I got Bingen.
I took a ferry to go to Rüdesheim, and it was almost 11a.m., which was an hour late than the schedule.

So I only visited one museum, Weinmuseum. The museum inside was so cold and was a little bit ghastly.

Then I took the cable car to get to Niederwald. There's a statue Germania built in 1883, which was majestic.

After that, I went to take a chairlift to get to Assmannshausen waiting for the KD Line ship to Kaub.

There's something happened badly, my ankle got labor pains again, I mean severe pain......

I couldn't go too far then. So I just took a boat to Pfalzgrafenstein then got back to Kaub to have dinner.

Pfalzgrafenstein, it's a castle in the middle of the Rhein, so you have to take a boat to get there.

In fact, I think there's no need to get to the castle since there's nothing worth visiting inside, or you can say there's almost nothing inside.........
